The School's Governors

The Governors play an essential role in the school's development, and assist by serving as an advisory and directive board. They make decisions on how the school is operated. The Full Body meets at least once a term, and regular meetings of the sub-committees are held to discuss staffing, finance, SEN, curriculum and building aspects.

The Governors are appointed to assist with:

  • moderating children's behaviour
  • interviewing and appointing staff
  • deciding how to spend the budget

The Governors are:

  • Parents
  • Teachers and Ancillary Staff
  • Local council representatives
  • Representatives of the commercial services

The parent Governors:

  • Have a child at the school
